Self aligning roller bearings have double row rollers, with one shared spherical raceway on the outer ring and two raceways on the inner ring that are tilted at an angle relative to the bearing axis. This ingenious structure enables it to have automatic centering performance, making it less susceptible to errors or shaft bending caused by the angle between the shaft and the bearing housing. It is suitable for situations where installation errors or shaft bending cause angle errors. This bearing can not only withstand radial loads, but also axial loads acting in both directions.
There are two types of inner holes for self-aligning roller bearings: cylindrical and conical. The taper of the conical hole is 1:30 and 1:12. This type of conical inner hole bearing is equipped with a locking sleeve or a detachable sleeve, which can easily and quickly assemble the conical inner hole self-aligning ball bearing on the optical shaft or stepped machine shaft.

The models of self aligning roller bearings include: self aligning roller bearings (20000CC type); Tapered hole self-aligning roller bearing (20000CCK type); Self aligning roller bearing (20000CC/W33 type); Tapered hole self-aligning roller bearing (20000CCK/W33 type); Self aligning roller bearing installed on the locking sleeve (20000CCK+H type); There are 6 types of self-aligning roller bearings (20000CCK/W33+H type) installed on the locking sleeve.
Self aligning roller bearings are divided into cylindrical inner holes and conical inner holes. The taper of the inner hole of the cone is 1:12 for the self-aligning roller bearing with the post code K (153000 or 113000 models) and 1:30 for the self-aligning roller bearing with the post code K30. When paired with a conical shaft, the inner ring moves axially to adjust the radial clearance of the bearing.
Product Applications
Main applicable cages: stamped steel plate reinforced cages (suffix E, rarely found in China). Stamped steel plate type cage (suffix CC), glass fiber reinforced polyamide 66 cage (suffix TVPB), and machined brass two-piece cage (suffix MB). Machined brass integral cages (suffix CA), stamped steel plate cages for vibration applications (suffix JPA). Brass cage for vibration situations (suffix EMA). The same structure may have different codes on the bearings.
Main uses: paper making machinery, reduction devices, railway vehicle axles, bearing seats for steel rolling mill gearboxes, steel rolling mill rollers, crushers, vibrating screens, printing machinery, woodworking machinery, various industrial reducers, vertical centering bearings with seats.
The self aligning roller bearing is equipped with a drum shaped roller between the inner ring with two raceways and the outer ring with a spherical raceway. The curvature center of the outer ring raceway surface is consistent with the center of the bearing, so it has the same centering function as automatic self-aligning ball bearings. When the shaft and shell are bent, it can automatically adjust the load and axial load in both directions. Large radial load capacity, suitable for situations with heavy loads and shock loads. The inner diameter of the inner ring is a tapered hole bearing that can be directly installed. Alternatively, use a locking sleeve or disassembly cylinder to install it on the cylindrical shaft. The cage is made of steel plate stamped cage, polyamide formed cage, and copper alloy car made cage.
For self aligning bearings, the use of an intermediate mounting ring can prevent the outer ring from tilting and rotating when installing the bearing with a shaft into the shaft hole of the box. It should be remembered that for some sizes of self-aligning ball bearings, the ball protrudes from the side of the bearing, so the middle mounting ring should be recessed to prevent damage to the ball. A large number of bearings are generally installed using mechanical or hydraulic pressing methods.
For separable bearings, the inner and outer rings can be installed separately, which simplifies the installation process, especially when both the inner and outer rings require interference fit. When installing the shaft with the inner ring installed in place into the bearing box containing the outer ring, it is necessary to pay attention to checking whether the inner and outer rings are correctly aligned to avoid scratching the bearing raceway and rolling components. If cylindrical and needle roller bearings use inner rings without flange flanges or inner rings with flange edges on one side, it is recommended to use installation sleeves. The outer diameter of the sleeve should be equal to the inner race diameter F, and the tolerance standard for machining should be d10. It is best to install the stamped outer ring needle roller bearing using a mandrel.
